Want to take in a free baseball game while searching for a new job? On June 6, the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Spur Impact Association host the fifth annual Nine Innings of Networking, the networking job fair held in conjunction with a ballgame at Frawley Stadium.

Bring your resume (multiple copies, so you can hand them out to prospective employers), and you’ll get in for free and have the opportunity to network with local companies that are hiring. Also bring your glove. The game is against the Lynchburg Hillcats. According to the Blue Rocks’ calendar, this game will be followed by a makeup game postponed from April 15; the first game will start at 5:05 p.m. instead of the usual 6:35 for Wednesday night games (just an FYI if you plan to watch the game — the job fair officially starts at 5:30).

Some of the companies looking to hire will include WhyFly, Capital One, Bilcare, Year Up, N.K.S. Distributors and Synerfac.

Register

If you can’t make the June 6 event, there will be another Nine Innings of Networking on Wednesday, August 15. Employers can still register for one or both of the job fairs — employer registration is here.
