Bunker Labs to host veteran entrepreneur event at 1313 Innovation

The event focuses on the transition from serving in the military to building a business.

Bunker Labs, the national incubator for veteran-led startups with a Philadelphia location at 1776 Rittenhouse Square, is coming to Wilmington’s 1313 Innovation, bringing its “Bunker Brews” series for an evening titled “Veteran Transition: The Journey of Entrepreneurship” on April 19 from 6–8 p.m.

This free event is open to everyone — but veterans, active duty military, entrepreneurs, business leaders and community leaders are especially encouraged to attend, for “a casual, transparent evening of stories touching on transitional challenges, entrepreneurial insights and connecting with great people.”

Here’s the panel:

  • MG Spider Marks (Retired), former head of Army Intelligence, and current CNN Military Contributor
  • James Brobyn, USMC veteran (Purple Heart Recipient), former Executive Director at Travis Manion Foundation and current CEO of CauseEngine
  • Joe Witte, Army Veteran, serial entrepreneur, and current Executive Director of Bunker Labs PHL
