Wilmington-based Tapp Network announced Thursday that it has entered into a global partnership with philanthropic management firm Cogeo, based in Portland, Oregon. The partnership will extend the marketing technology services offered by Tapp to nonprofit organizations around the world with Cogeo’s organization and fundraising services.
“Our alliance with Cogeo will bridge the gap between the latest advancements in marketing technology and the transformational fundraising strategies disrupting the nonprofit sector,” said Kyle Barkins, Tapp’s cofounder and chief innovation officer. “Cogeo’s leadership in global capacity building and philanthropic growth strategies will become an integral foundation of our inbound marketing offerings and website development solutions.”
Cogeo CEO Patrick Sampson said the partnership will “unlock exponential digital capacity for Cogeo clients.”
The partnership is a testament to the power of networking: Tapp Network Director of Corporate Development Jackie Pfriender says the partnership came to be after a chain of events that started at the Millennial Summit in Wilmington over the summer.
No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
