Sussex County is in the middle of updating its comprehensive plan for 2018, and, like Wilmington, local officials want as much public input as they can get.
The Sussex County Comprehensive Plan, also known as The Sussex Plan, will be a 14-chapter document covering areas such as conservation, housing, economic development and historical preservation. Nine of the chapter drafts can be downloaded now at sussexplan.com, with the others coming soon. You can also view the 2008-2018 Sussex Plan here.
Most importantly, if you’re a Sussex resident, you can help shape The Sussex Plan by leaving public input (and you can see input from others, too).
