Code & Coffee is back and you don’t need to be a civic hacker to attend

Open Data Delaware’s Code & Coffee is officially back for its second season, starting Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brandywine Hundred Library.

The weekly meetup is all about connecting over code.

“Whether you want to explore data about local communities and government; practicing coding, data analysis, or visualization; or work on creative solutions to local issues, Code & Coffee has a place for you every Saturday morning,” said Open Data Delaware cofounder David Ginzberg.

“It doesn’t matter what your skillset is,” said cofounder Ryan Harrington, “just that you’re willing to learn and build relationships.”

People from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

“We have quite a few active projects that could really use the skills of a mythical web designer unicorn,” added event organizer Aiyani Martin. “That said, everyone is welcome.”

Bring a laptop if you have one — if you don’t, the library has a limited number of laptops available to borrow during the meetup.

Code & Coffee is free and open to all. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
