Delawareans have the opportunity to access cybersecurity experts and learn how to stay safe online at the daylong Cyber Security Workshop at Dover Downs Oct. 11.
Now in its eighth year, this free event is geared toward everyone from people who use the internet primarily for recreation to business owners seeking to stay current on cyber safety, with four separate tracks: General, Intermediate, Advanced and Small to Medium Business.
According to event organizers:

As an attendee of this event, you can expect to learn how to improve your odds of defending yourself, your family, your employer, your business, and the citizens of Delaware against cyber-attacks. This event provides the opportunity to share information and collaborate across all lines of government, business, and citizens to strengthen our readiness and response posture. Vendors will be onsite to demonstrate relevant services and products.

The workshop starts at 8:15 a.m. Breakfast and lunch are provided.
