Gov. Carney to meet with small businesses at The Mill on Friday

The governor will be answering questions and taking feedback on Delaware's changing economy.

So far, Gov. John Carney has been committed to an economic-development overhaul to benefit innovators, small businesses and entrepreneurs — and that includes listening to innovators, small businesses and entrepreneurs. His statewide Innovative Business Tour is stopping in Wilmington Friday.
On Aug. 18, the governor will meet with some of the Wilmington’s most innovative business owners at The Mill.
The meeting will take place at 3 p.m., and will be followed with a happy hour.
The tour will have two more stops:

  • 1:00 p.m., Aug. 29: Avalanche Industries, 144 Dixon St., Selbyville, Del., 19975
  • 3:30 p.m., Aug. 30: Incyte, 1801 Augustine Cut-Off, Wilmington, Del., 19803
