You know about Wilm Day, GeoSwap’s citywide launch party of specials and deals in Wilmington starting Aug. 10. Now get ready for Newark Day, the follow-up to Wilm Day, geared toward new and returning University of Delaware students.
Starting Aug. 26, businesses all across Newark will be offering a week of special deals available exclusively through the GeoSwap app.
The app, available for free on iOS and Android, shows the goings-on near your location, including food and drink specials that can be added by users who are out and about.
“We’ve got a lot of businesses on both North and South Main Street interested,” GeoSwap CMO Jordan Gonzales said about Newark Day. “We’ve got 4,000 new people showing up, and we’re giving them deals, so they want to be a part of it.”
A few of the businesses slated to participate include Grotto Pizza, Klondike Kates, Claymont Steaks, National 5 & 10 and Brewed Awakenings.
For more details on Newark Day, keep an eye on the GeoSwap blog.
