Aug. 16: Don’t miss TEDxWilmington

The conference is presenting dozens of “Ideas Beyond Borders” for its sixth-annual iteration.

TEDxWilmington’s sixth annual conference at The Queen is coming up fast, with 35 speakers from all over the country and the world. Among the topics are:

  • “Is your body image holding you back?” by Rani St. Pucchi,
  • “How to get Coworkers to like each other” by Jason Treu, and
  • “An Innovative Twist on Old Time Appalachian Music,” featuring Victor Furtado and Cab Calloway School of the Arts student Andrew Vogts.

The theme this year is “Limitless — Ideas Beyond Borders.” From the TEDxWilmington website:

Now more than ever with the advancements in technology we are seeing our world become limitless. What limits have you overcome in your life? We challenge our community to be limitless and take on the most difficult issues that we are faced with today.
