Sharon Hake has her eyes on Philadelphia. The founder of the women-focused mentorship org is launching a Great Dames chapter in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection.
As sister site Technical.ly Philly reports, the group is hosting two events in Center City later this month — one on July 10 and another on July 17.

“The groups serve both as a safe haven and personal think-tank,” said Hake, who is now based in Philly and will also be spearheading the Philly chapter. “Groups like this are incredibly effective because they rely on confidentiality, peer support and focused dialogue to help women realize their own power and purpose.”
As you may recall, this isn’t the first expansion of the Great Dames footprint. The org planted a flag in Rochester, N.Y., in September 2016.
