The Emerging Enterprise Center named a new program director: Dora Cheatham

Cheatham has been active with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, among other community efforts.

The Emerging Enterprise Center, an initiative of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, has named Dora Cheatham as its new program director. She will start on June 26.
It’s new blood for the EEC, which lost its longtime community manager Frank Desantis when he retired earlier this year.
In an an email announcing Cheatham’s appointment, officials thanked the community for their patience during the search.
As program director she will provide support, access to resources and advice to Emerging Enterprise Center members.
Cheatham, who moved to Delaware 25 years ago, has been very active in the community. She is member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee, the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance Operations Team and is an volunteer for the Biggs Museum of American Art.
She has also worked as director of development at Kent-Sussex Industries in Milford,where she coordinated a $2.2 million capital campaign and increased non-campaign donations, according to the EEC’s announcement.
