Open Data Delaware’s next Open Data Challenge workshop has officially been announced. We received word from co-organizer Ryan Harrington about the where, what and when of it all.

On March 22, at the Microsoft Store in the Christiana Mall from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Open Data Delaware and Content Strategy Delaware are teaming up for “Next Level Civic Tech: Build a Plan with Content Strategy DE.” The focus of this particular workshop is on the structural operation of an idea. Here’s the word from the meetup:

Now that you’ve come up with a great idea, your next step is to operationalize it! How do you do that? By bringing structure and objectives around both the project (the time it takes to get your idea up and running) as well as the process (how will your project stay alive after you get it up and running).

This workshop is part of a six-workshop series that will lead up to the National Day of Civic Hacking in June. Each workshop focuses on a specific topic that Open Data Delaware and its specific co-organizer. You don’t need to attend them all if you want to be ready for the National Day of Civic Hacking hackathon; instead, hit the workshops that you feel will best round your skills out for the event.

We spoke with Harrington at length about this project only a few weeks ago. Dig into that, then get hacking for social good!
