Scientist Bill Nye will be at the University of Delaware on March 21 at 8:00 p.m. in the Bob Carpenter Center to present a moderated discussion and Q&A.
The event is being sponsored by Student Centers Programming Advisory Board at UD, and tickets will go on sale for students on Feb. 27. The UD student population will be able to buy them for $15 starting on that date. The general public can buy tickets starting March 13, and they’ll go for $25 a piece. The event is general admission, and tickets move on a first come, first served basis.
Nye, of course, is the star of Bill Nye the Science Guy, an Emmy-winning show that ran from 1993-98 on PBS. That show is on Netflix now, by the way. I know this because I’m currently watching it with my five-year-old son.
Nye also has an upcoming show on Netflix called Bill Nye Saves the World. That 13-episode series will debut on April 21, 2017. Here’s the most recent trailer.
