The N. Delaware 3D Printing Meetup is really into the art of 3D printing. You can expect attendees to tell you which printers are best for which job. In short, they know their stuff.
The meetups take place at the Printed Solid showroom and warehouse at 2850 Ogletown Rd. in Newark.
Here’s a list of a few upcoming meetups they’re hosting:

  • Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m.: Attendees of Ice Breaker and Ultimaker 3 Preview will get access to the Ultimaker 3, a new type of 3D printer that can use two materials at once. This printer has not been officially released to the public, according to organizers Matt Gorton, Don Dagen and Sarena Fletcher.
  • Sunday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.3D Printer Owner Skill Builder Sunday will act as a support group for 3D printing addicts experts and seasoned users. It’s meant to be an informal meeting where users can chat about their projects and where owners or future owners can talk about their machines. Barrel of Makers instructor Taras Wallace will be speaking at the meetup.
  • Sunday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m.3D Printer Owner Skill Builder Sunday December won’t have a set agenda. Expect informal chat about “victories and failures.”

Here’s a quick review of the Ultimaker 3 to tide you over until you can make it to the meetup:
