Connor Mullen, a student at University of Delaware and a former intern at The Mill died on Sunday, Sept. 26. The cause of death has not yet been made public. Originally from Washington, N.J., Connor was a junior majoring in entrepreneurship and technology innovation.
UDaily published a statement in his memory.
Mona Parikh, tech community liaison and instructor at UD’s Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, provided Technical.ly Delaware with this statement:
Connor Mullen’s spirit and enthusiasm was as inspiring and sincere as the care and concern he displayed towards his classmates, greek life brothers and sisters, educators, advisors and everyone else at University of Delaware fortunate enough to know him. Academically, professionally and personally, he displayed camaraderie and exercised humility. Connor’s dry sense of humor was second only to his sharp intellect; his thoughtfully-timed comebacks were as insightful as they were witty. He was a generous, inquisitive and kind human being, and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to the Mullen family and to Connor’s friends and loved ones during this most difficult time.
His fraternity, Sigma Pi, has started a Tilt campaign to help his family with funeral expenses.
Here’s what some friends and classmates had to say about Connor:
