Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications (RH Strategic) has hired energy industry PR veteran Loretta Prencipe as its new new VP of energy and sustainability.

RH Strategic has headquarter offices in Seattle and D.C. Prencipe will work out of the agency’s K Street office and focus on expanding RH Strategic’s energy and sustainability offerings. The attorney and former journalist will advise the agency’s growing portfolio of companies in these sectors. Prencipe joins RH Strategic after previously leading Makovsky Communications’ energy, manufacturing and sustainability practice for five years.

“Energy, environmental and sustainability issues are front and center in Washington and throughout the United States — creating challenges for a broad range of organizations — from utilities to big brands,” Prencipe said in a statement. “I joined RH because the firm understands this and has unparalleled expertise in delivering campaigns that shape policy, manage reputation and build market share.”
