Enterprise software company Stardog is looking to add a senior manager/director of field marketing to its team. The Arlington, Virginia-based company is the maker of an enterprise data unification platform.

The person in this role will lead the creation, launch and execution of marketing campaigns for the company’s programs. They will also lead digital marketing campaigns for Stardog events.

Candidates for this role should possess five or more years of experience in field marketing, have experience executing events from inception, and know how to create and managing marketing campaigns, per the job description. B2B digital advertising experience and technical audience marketing experience would be a plus.

The addition of this team member comes after Stardog closed a $9 million Series B funding raise last October.

Downtown D.C.-based Pie Insurance is hiring a remote Mid-Atlantic business development manager.

The three-year-old insurance tech startup provides workers’ compensation insurance to small- and medium-sized businesses via its online site. Pie Insurance’s Mid-Atlantic business development manager will report to its Denver office, but will be based in the Mid-Atlantic region. This senior level role requires six or more years of experience working in the insurance industry, specifically with worker’s compensation and possess a network of commercial insurance partners. The person in this role can expect to collaborate across multiple teams to develop and implement policies, as well as train new distribution partners and agents.

The startup also has various open positions across its legal, accounting, product and executive departments. And just in case you missed it, Pie Insurance has been named our top startup to watch on our D.C. RealLIST Startups 2020 list.

D.C.’s Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) is looking to hire an information security officer.

CFSA is the District’s public child welfare agency that helps protect children who are at risk or have been victims of abuse and neglect. The ISO will be in charge of overseeing data documentation through the agency’s IT applications. This person will work closely with CFSA’s IT manager to implement security policies and best practices that align with federal compliance.
