Full disclosure: DC is serving as a media partner for the GWomen Dolphin Tank event.

Events Roundup is a column where we highlight events happening in the D.C. area each month. Got a submission? Email us the details so we can consider it for our next roundup.

Springboard Enterprises, a D.C.-based nonprofit and venture catalyst for women entrepreneurs, teamed up with George Washington University’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to host its signature Dolphin Tank program Feb. 24 and 26.

The nonprofit partners with various organizations for its Dolphin Tank event, which is an interactive, feedback-driven pitch competition. This specific GWU edition will feature women entrepreneurs who will pitch their ventures across two days. These women are also a part of the inaugural GWomen cohort, a new program at GWU helping to accelerate women-led student businesses.

The events are free to attend and the session on Monday, Feb. 24, will be hosted at 1776 Lafayette Square from 6 to 8 p.m.

The session on Wednesday, Feb. 26, will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Cloyd Heck Marvin Center at 800 21st St. NW, in room 302.
