The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) has released its 2019 NVTC Tech 100 list recognizing top tech companies and executives in the region.
The council publishes this list annually; this year’s program attracted over 180 nominations from D.C. area companies. Each nomination was reviewed by a panel of expert judges including Joel Kallett, managing director of Clearsight Advisors; Sam Maness, managing director of defense and government services investment banking at Raymond James & Associates; April L. Young, PhD, managing director at Hercules Capital; and Dendy Young, managing partner at McLean Capital.
The awards list recognizes 100 tech companies and 25 tech executives.
“This region continues to showcase the nation’s top technology companies and the brightest workforce,” said President and CEO of NVTC Bobbie Kilberg in a statement. “We are excited to announce this year’s exceptional individuals and highly-regarded companies as the 2019 NVTC Tech 100 honorees.”
The honorees will be celebrated at an exclusive party at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner on Dec. 9. At the event, NVTC will also honor its Veterans Service Award winners coming from its Veterans Employment Initiative. Those recognized for this award are the council’s member companies who have engaged with its initiative and support for the veteran community this past year.-30-
