After selecting the first two women-led ventures to advance to its final Venture Challenge this fall, Vinetta Project DC is back with another semifinal round this month.

Vinetta’s next semifinal pitch competition is on June 19 at the new Capital One Café in Chinatown. Pitches will be judged by a panel that includes Michael Avon from ICX Media, Lori Coulter from Summersalt, Margaret Donnell from Capital One and Dan Mindus from NextGen Venture Partners. The judges will select two winners to move on to the finals.

In the first semifinals round, Lola Han, CEO of CultivatePeople, and Cynthia Adams, CEO of Pearl Certification advanced to the final Venture Challenge. Here’s the next batch of female founders who will pitch for a spot on stage next to these two:

  • Jay Newton-Small, founder of MemoryWell: Launched in 2016, the startup created a network of professional journalists who interview seniors and their families. MemoryWell recently closed a $1 million funding round in April.
  • Kari Clark, founder of Uplift: Clark publishes a daily newsletter chronicling the life of motherhood. Each newsletter is intended to be read in a minute.
  • Stephanie Cummings, founder of Please Assist Me: A platform that connects people with reliable assistants to help them manage day to day chores and tasks.
  • Julie Koo, founder of IOREX: A water pipe solution product to keep pipes clean in order to improve water quality without having to replace them.
