Talk digital transformation at this GoKart Labs event

It’s by now widely understood that digital tools can help businesses connect with customers in ways that complement and improve the in-person experience. Yet it’s not as simple as plugging in new technology.

An event on June 27 at WeWork Dupont Circle will look at how to approach the process, with a focus on keeping the customer at the center amid the digital details.

“What we see at the core of this is a design problem – businesses designed decades ago are at risk of failure if they don’t focus on the big picture of transformation, not just technical implementation,” the event description states.

The evening event will offer lessons from the financial, education and healthcare industry. Panelists at the event include education consultant Sharon van Wyk, entrepreneur Erwin Godoy, and Consumer Technology Association Vice President of U.S. Jobs Jennifer Taylor.

The event is hosted by GoKart Labs. The Minneapolis-based agency opened a second office in D.C. in 2016, and now has a team of eight working out of WeWork Dupont Circle.
