How She Got There: An Evening With DC Entrepreneurs will bring together digital coach Shelly Bell and digital strategist Jenelle Coy to talk about their journeys and destinations. The event is set to start at 6:30 p.m.

Bell is the founder of Black Girl Ventures, a business consultancy focused on getting funding for businesses owned by women of color which runs Boss Up pitch competitions, which double as crowdfunding events for women entrepreneurs of color. Last week, she won the Technical.ly DC award for Entrepreneur of 2017.
Coy is the founder and managing partner of digital strategy firm COY +. She was named to the Forbes 2018 30 Under 30 in Marketing & Advertising, and last year was named an honoree of Washington Women in PR’s Emerging Leader Award.
