Hear from leaders of WeWork, Humble Ventures at the next Women in Tech Breakfast

Listen to female tech leaders discuss their road to success, their frustrations and advice on navigating troubled waters at General Assembly on Friday, Dec. 1.

The monthly Women In Tech Breakfast costs $10 and will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Breakfast will go from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by a panel discussion from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and then mingling from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The panel includes Anastasia Kessler-Dellaccio, the Director of Global Community and Career Engagement for the WeWork Creator Awards, which were dominated by women entrepreneurs in March. Mary Iafelice, who cofounded Humble Ventures to take an inclusive approach to VC, will also be speaking.

Incidentally, a recent Brookings Institute report cites that women have stronger digital skills than their male counterparts. From the report:

“Women, with slightly higher aggregate digital scores (48) than men (45), represent about three-quarters of the workforce in many of the largest medium-digital occupational groups, such as health care, office administration, and education,” according to the report. “Conversely, men continue to dominate the highest-level digital occupations, such as computer, engineering and management fields, as well as lower-digital occupations such as transportation, construction, natural resources, and building and grounds occupations.”
