Here are the winners of the 2017 Timmy Awards

The third edition of the awards was held at 1776 Crystal City.

The 2017 Timmy Awards took place last week, at 1776 Crystal City. The awards recognize leaders in DC Tech for creating some of the best places for tech professionals to work. The event, organized through the local Meetup chapter of Tech in Motion, allows the public to submit their nominations for the four possible awards. There were over 150 nominations, 30 finalists, and over 11,000 votes for the nominees.

The event added “Best Tech Workplace for Diversity” as new category this year.

“Diversity is not only a trending topic in tech but across all industries,” said Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Motion Recruitment Partners. “Adding the Workplace for Diversity award recognizes and celebrates the companies who know that diversity isn’t just a trending term or requirement but a key ingredient to the creativity and success of a company.”
