Approximately one year ago, Black Female Founders (or #BFF) launched as a membership organization for women-of-color-led ventures in the D.C. area.

The idea?

“Harness our super power by working together, sharing our stories, and supporting one another.”

Now the organization cofounded by Sibyl Edwards is getting ready to celebrate a year of accomplishments and success.

The anniversary event, set for April 18, will include time for networking, the inaugural #BFF Fempire Awards and a panel discussion featuring #BFFs who won big at WeWork’s Creator Awards. The event will also introduce #BFF Labs, a new eight week pre-accelerator program for startups with at least one Black female cofounder.

Head out to WeWork Crystal City to learn more, and celebrate and support all the work done by #BFFs in the past year. RSVP here.
