Voice assistants are everywhere these days. From the proliferation of Amazon’s Alexa to the ever-present Siri. So does that mean that app and website developers should be building experiences for voice too?

The Washington Post has been experimenting with Alexa (they’ve got Jeff Bezos in common, after all) and will be sharing some lessons and best practices at this upcoming Refresh DC event.

Joseph Price, senior product manager for the Post and the same guy who was behind that election-time Facebook “feels” bot, will be talking about his team’s experiments with voice assistants — what’s possible, what works and how to test it.

The event will be held April 20 at the Post’s office on K Street. Find more info, and RSVP, here.
