Looks like DC is getting its own edition of this women-only coworking space

Fresh off a $8 million Series A round, NYC-born “work and community space” The Wing has its sights set on expansion. Among the three new locations mentioned? Our very own Washington, D.C.

The Wing might sound like a familiar name — it’s a women-only coworking space (by day) and clubhouse (by night) that opened its first location in Manhattan’s Flatiron District in October 2016. Since opening, it has played home to “a community of women dedicated to living their best lives,” according to the website.

The Wing’s three new locations include one in Soho (slated to open this fall, according to Forbes) and then Brooklyn and D.C. “I lived in D.C. twice, and if I’d had The Wing  my quality of life would have been totally transformed,” cofounder Audrey Gelman told Forbes.

We’ve reached out for more on when this location can be expected and where it’ll be.
