General Assembly and Lyft wanna take you out for Valentine’s Day

Looking for Valentine’s Day plans? The big day is this Tuesday, and General Assembly and Lyft are teaming up to take you out to a party.

Called “Heartbeats,” the event seems to be conceived of as part “networking happy hour,” part “day-of-love celebration.”

“Tired of talking about what you do?” an invitation asks. “Come talk about what you love. What makes your heart beat?”

Well, just how literally are we talking? (Just kidding.)

For Lyft, the party doubles as a promo opportunity — party attendees get ride discounts.

The event will be held on Feb. 14 from 5-8 p.m. at the Gryphon in Dupont.
