Ever wondered about our friends in the tech world just across the river? Then this event is for you.
1776 and General Assembly are teaming up to host an event dedicated to giving you an warm intro to the Virginia startup community. General Assembly, you may recall, recently announced a big expansion into northern Virginia, as well as around the world. Organizers promise first-rate intel on “key events/meetups to attend, available resources, people, companies, VCs, blogs, incubators, programs, hot issues and more.”
The event will feature a panel discussion with some leading names — Evan Burfield, cofounder of 1776; Shanaz Chowdhery, regional director of General Assembly; Andrew Chang, managing partner at Eastern Foundry; and Victor Hoskins, director of economic development for Arlington County.
The evening discussion will, fittingly, be held at 1776’s Crystal City campus on Sept. 20.
