What about that storm, huh?
Last night’s (unpredicted) weather event brought 65-mph winds, destructive hail and plenty of thunder and lightening to the District. You probably noticed it.
Now, as the city works to clean up downed trees and repair any other damage, you can relive the drama via this cool timelapse video. Taken from Crystal City, the short video shows menacing clouds and beautiful bolts of lightening over the Washington Monument.
