Get risky over breakfast with Creative Mornings

Michael Lastoria, founder of &pizza, will talk about risk and risk-taking at this month's event.

Risk, and risk-taking, is undoubtedly a familiar venture to the entrepreneurs among you. Perhaps because of this, it can be fascinating to hear stories of routes taken or decisions made by now-successful founders that at the time seemed, well, risky.
This is the theme of the Creative Mornings breakfast lecture this month — &pizza founder Michael Lastoria will be sharing his stories of risk. What’s risky about a fast-casual pizza chain that has raised $15 million to expand access to delicious personal pies to 13 locations around the D.C. area? You’ll have to register for the event on April 29 to find out.
It’s worth noting that Lastoria previously founded Innovation Ads, a marketing and media services company, and was a founding partner at JWALK, a New York-based creative agency, so he’s sure to have a variety of lessons on risk to share.
The event promises inspiration, coffee and breakfast — and you can sign up here.
