D.C.-based Springboard Enterprises is now seeking applications from women-led healthcare companies for the pharma track of its Health Innovation Hub program.
The program, according to the website, is a yearlong series of workshops, training sessions and bootcamps for “companies seeking seed and growth funding to fuel expansion and product development.” However, unlike a traditional accelerator, Springboard Enterprises takes no equity in selected companies, instead requiring a $2,500 program fee.
Another unique feature of the Health Innovation Hub is that the program is virtual — there is no need for selected companies to relocate to D.C.
Application criteria include:
- A woman in senior leadership
- The potential to partner with Springboard’s corporate partners
- A track record of achievements — for example grants, clients or revenue
- A credible core management team
Applications for the Hub’s other track, Health IT, will open in April 2016.
