George Washington University partners with Arlington-based LMO Advertising

Hopefully, the school's new digital strategy won't involve too many Snapchat communiqués.

LMO Advertising, the Arlington-based ad agency that created buzz last year for its Snapchat intern recruitment process, has begun a formal partnership with George Washington University.
The company has become the “Digital Media Agency of Record” for the school — meaning it will take on digital strategy, content production and media buying for all its departments.
“LMO has a long history of helping brands connect with young adults making long-considered, life decisions,” LMO Advertising CEO Chris Laughlin noted in a press release Tuesday.
“We are particularly focused on connecting with our potential students who are digital natives and believe LMO’s proficiency will help increase interest in our graduate programs,” a GW spokeswoman, Sarah Baldassaro, said in the release.
