Big raise for comScore: $287.3 million [Startup Roundup]

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

Reston-based digital analytics company comScore has raised $287.3 million, according to an SEC filing. The funding comes from a partnership with the British advertising firm WPP PLC, which has taken a 20 percent stake in comScore, the Washington Business Journal reports.

Leesburg-based marketing analysis company Gravy has raised $7.6 million, the Washington Business Journal reports.

Alexandria-based Moko Social Media, a social networking firm that targets young users, has raised $58,600 of a prospective $200,000 round, according to an SEC filing.

North Star Games, a Bethesda-based board games company, has raised $620,000 from a prospective $1.5 million round, according to an SEC filing.

Babyscripts, a Georgetown-based health tech company, is about to raise a $1 million seed round led by downtown incubator 1776 and Kensington Capital Partners, according to DC Inno.

Reston-based Cloudistics, an “elastic” operating system provider, raised $717,000 out of a prospective $1 million round, according to an SEC filing.
