VerticalNet was a 1990s-era business-to-business services portal developed in suburban Philadelphia. It is a memorable example of the fervor around the dot com bubble, including its $12 billion valuation in 2000 without established revenue.

The company has since rebranded to VertMarkets and still maintains B2B publishing and services.
