Springboard Collaborative is closing the literacy gap by closing the gap between home and school. We coach educators and family members to help kids learn to read by 4th grade. Springboard envisions a world in which all children have the requisite literacy skills to access life opportunities.

While Springboard’s headquarters are in Philadelphia, our workforce and school partners are spread across the country. We’ve seen tremendous growth over the last few years as schools across the country were affected by the pandemic. With primary education taking a big hit during the pandemic, the need for our programs has become more important than ever.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have grown from 40 to 140+ employees, the majority of whom are completely remote, and we are continuing to grow and scale as we expand to new cities, refine our offerings, and help kids across the country read on grade level.

Our programs use web and text applications designed to help school leaders track progress and to provide students and families with the tools they need to learn. That’s where you come in. We are looking for compassionate, mission-driven technologists located anywhere in the US to join our product, engineering, and IT systems departments.

As a nonprofit organization, we are determined to have the greatest impact we can, but we do not take our employees for granted. What are some of the benefits you offer?
— PTO: 4 weeks (20 days) annually plus all 11 federal holidays, federal Election Day, your birthday (!!), two floating holidays, and sick days taken as needed.
— Insurance: We cover 80% of individual health insurance premiums (40% for family members) and provide vision and dental insurance for you and your family at no cost.
— 403(b) Match: We match up to 6% of your salary in retirement contributions after 6 months of employment.
— Parental Leave: 12 paid weeks after 6 months of employment.
— Technology: All remote employees receive a laptop, an annual technology allowance, a home office allowance, and we cover your phone bill up to $100/month.
