About Philadelphia Public Interest Information Network

The Philadelphia Public Interest Information Network was a public affairs journalism project launched in 2012. It was renamed in December 2012 to AxisPhilly.

It was incubated by the Center for Public Interest Journalism at Temple University, which itself was created by funding from the William Penn Foundation as a way to launch the project.
