After a decade of advocacy, events and the ongoing revitalization of Downtown Wilmington, city fixture Will Minster, the director of business development for Downtown Visions and the manager of Main Street Wilmington, is leaving the organization he helped launch.
Minster announced his parting publicly on his Facebook page over the weekend, sending a wave of surprise through the downtown community.

During Minster’s tenure, we’ve seen the renovation of The Queen theater, LOMA, the Creative District, the growth of Delaware College for Art & Design and a growing number of downtown residents, among other things. The city has also struggled with its reputation and disappointments such as World Cafe’s split with The Queen.
Recently, Minster partnered with Spaceboy Clothing on Market Street to revitalize Humble Park at 4th and Shipley.
