For its second episode, the Waterfront Tech Series is looking to educate everyone about cybersecurity.
The next edition of the event is set for Oct. 4 at Brown Advisory in Fells Point. So, harbor views will accompany the networking at the breakfast event. It’s being held during Baltimore Innovation Week.
The theme for the event is “Privacy, Fraud, and Breaches…Oh My.” With breaches making big headlines recently, event producer Laura Gaworecki of MOXIE Promotion said she wants to provide a forum where business owners, professionals and individuals can learn about securing data.
“The premise is that technology doesn’t just affect people that work in tech,” she said of the series, which debuted in May. “Tech affects all of us, and a security breach would affect all of us.”
