The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children has a new online look, and new ways to support the nonprofit’s work.
Carrying on the late Biden’s commitment to advocating for young victims of abuse and neglect, the Foundation has a Stewards for Children (adults trained to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse) program, an Internet Safety Program, the Shield of Protection Initiative, and, among other events, the annual Run for Child Protection fundraiser, which is scheduled for November 11.
To help reach a bigger audience, the organization just revamped its online presence and added an ecommerce shop.

Joshua Alcorn, Chief Operating Officer of the Beau Biden Foundation said the nonprofit’s recently revamped website looks to create a more user-friendly experience and a renewed energy around its work.
“We’re always happy to see someone wearing a hat with our logo,” Alcorn said. “With the online store, folks can show their support and, hopefully, spread the word about the work we do protecting the most vulnerable among us – children who suffer from abuse or neglect.”
The online store, which can be accessed via the website header, offers branded mugs, t-shirts, and your more high-end items such as ties and leather luggage, as well as hand-made jewelry by West Chester, Pa.-based PowerBeads by Jen.
