Six of seven candidates running for governor of Maryland this year will participate in a forum on technology and life sciences hosted by the Tech Council of Maryland trade association on April 21. (Republican Larry Hogan is “will not attend,” according to a press release posted on Baltimore CityBizList.)
Among the topics being debated are “support for emerging companies” and support on overall innovation in the state. The forum will take place at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.

From the wording in the press release, it seems that the event is intended for “business leaders,” and the cost to attend reflects that as well: it’s $90 for people who aren’t members of the Tech Council of Maryland.
