In November 2012, Lexington Market became the first of the city’s six historic public markets to have free WiFi installed, as Technical.ly Baltimore reported. The remaining five public markets received free WiFi in summer 2013, and the Mayor’s Office of Information Technology pays for the WiFi service at all of the city’s historic public markets.
