Driven by last year’s deadly Market Street building collapse, the Nutter administration formed a commission to study the way Licenses & Inspections does business. The city launched a website to solicit testimonies from the public about their experience with L&I, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Philadelphians can also submit information via phone or in-person.

L&I is the city agency that handles issues with the built environment, like vacant properties, commercial buildings and constructions.
