Startups: you can still build that photo-sharing app, just so long as you start solving this country’s problems too.
That’s the focus of the inaugural, national Reboot America summit Thursday and Friday in Washington, D.C., where corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, elected officials — and AOL founder Steve Case — will talk about how the talent and drive of startup companies can be used toward such aims as better educating children, producing cleaner energy and improving national security.
You can still register for the two-day summit, being held at the Ronald Reagan Building.
For those unable to attend, you can vote on the innovation ideas pitched by startups so far through Patriotic.ly.
Here’s the teaser trailer for the Reboot America summit.
