The social entrepreneurship conversation that is strengthening in mature technology markets is getting a city-wide conference of its own.

It’s MakeImpactNYC to be held Jan. 16 at Fordham University’s Manhattan graduate business school campus.

The keynote speaker will be Katie Hunt-Morr, director of values and impact at Brooklyn’s Etsy. There will also be TED-style lectures from Girls Who Code founder Reshma Saujani and David Thigpen, the cofounder of Williamsburg-based Corners2Cornerstones, which focuses on ex-offenders.
