Plenty of experts and journalists have been weighing in on the chances that D.C. will win the sweepstakes for Amazon HQ2.
A week after the tech giant announced the Request for Proposals to North America cities for its second, equal headquarters, the people responsible for putting together the pitch are weighing in.
Mayor Muriel Bowser released a video on Twitter showing some of the pitch. While referencing Jeff Bezos’ connections to the District, she also brings up entrepreneurship.
“People know they’re coming to DC because they can start and grow their businesses, and they have access to some of the most talented people and top universities in the world,” she said.
And, there’s some back and forth with Alexa. Watch below:

The District is also accepting feedback for the proposal at alexawhydc.com. In particular, the mayor’s office is asking for “why DC is a great place to do business, suggestions for creative RFP response elements that showcase DC, and any and all ideas you may have for our proposal.”
