Since 2011 — when the U.S. joined the Open Government Partnership — the White House has been advancing new transparency initiatives through a series of National Action Plans.
As it prepares its third transparency blueprint — which will guide how federal agencies open up to the public in the next two years — the administration is asking you to weigh in.
“Our efforts to advance open government are making an impact,” said Corinna Zarek, a senior adviser on open government at the office of the U.S. Chief Technology Officer, in a blog post. “These plans are a true team effort — governments work alongside civil society in all 65 OGP countries to develop and implement the efforts within the plans.”
You can share your thoughts by emailing opengov@ostp.gov, tweeting @OpenGov, or contributing to the government’s Hackpad.
