Great Dames moves its ‘Powerful Conversation’ event to Zoom as think tank is postponed

The event for professional women is keeping its April 6 date for a virtual call.

Women-focused bizdev org Great Dames’ Powerful Conversation Think Tank: Find Your Power! was originally scheduled for April 6 at Harry’s Savoy Grill & Ballroom.

The event, which would feature U. S. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester and author and University of Delaware professor Dr. Wendy Smith, will be postponed thanks to the spread of COVID-19, with tickets transferring to a new (yet to be announced) date.

However, a virtual event will still be held on April 6 via Zoom.

The Great Dames Powerful Conversation Zoom Call will take place online at 5:30 p.m., with a focus on the power of connecting with the community. The virtual event will be free. RSVP to receive a Zoom invite.
