Some of Delaware’s best food (and fashion) trucks will convene in the town of Whitehall in greater Middletown this Saturday for a day of friendly competition, music and, of course, lots of food. The event will raise money for anti-poverty nonprofit Ministry of Caring.
The four-hour event starts at noon, so wherever you are in Delaware, you can sleep in a bit before heading to Whitehall, and still be home by dinnertime.
Competing trucks include:
- Miale Deli and Salumeria (Wilmington)
- I Don’t Give a Fork (Newark)
- Uncle John’s BBQ (Wilmington)
- Outlandish Food Truck (Newark)
Also on hand will be Wilmington’s Passionista Fashion Truck, Delaware’s mobile fashion boutique.
Ministry of Caring offers support and services to the community in and around Wilmington, including child care, emergency shelters, job placement, medical and dental services, and the Emmanuel Dining Rooms of Wilmington and New Castle.
