Cool talk alert: How we could use Dubai as a blueprint for Brooklyn

Join some of Brooklyn tech’s heavy hitters Tuesday in the Navy Yard for a discussion about how Dubai could work as a blueprint for Brooklyn’s innovation economy.
The talk is called the Future Forum, and it’s being hosted by 1776, the Partnership for New York City and Tech:NYC. Dubai, land of glass skyscrapers and economic boom, may be a good example for Brooklyn. In terms of innovation, the city-state is at the forefront of the world, as when earlier this month it was announced it would be the site of the world’s first hyperloop, to run between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
According to tech incubator and coworking space 1776, the event will be “a discussion about what is happening in Dubai and how it can inform innovation initiatives by New York City’s government, startups and institutions.”
